🎤 TOP 10, BABIES! - Beatles Week at MBNA

The competition is heating up, and I am over the moon to announce that I’ve officially strutted my way into the TOP 10 of Mama's Next Big Act!. This week was our very first Theme Week, and the challenge was a big one: The Beatles. For this milestone, I decided to take a walk down "The Long and Winding Road." It’s always been one of my absolute favorites, not just for the gorgeous melody, but for the delicious drama behind it! Did you know Paul McCartney was famously furious with producer Phil Spector for adding those lush orchestral layers without his consent? While Paul may have wanted it simple, I decided to lean into the grandeur—because you know Mama loves a moment!   (See below)

Stepping onto the stage at Don't Tell Mama NYC for another week is a gift that keeps on giving because this time I got to do it with a cape and lantern. I can’t thank the incredible producer, Lennie Watts enough for creating such a supportive space for us to experiment and literally shine!
